There are Three Girls Hostels in the University namely; Nivedita I, II and Rani Laxmi Bai Girls Hostel. These Hostels are one of the best state of art hostels of the University. It is located in a peaceful location of the University campus. The surroundings of the hostel offer quiet walks to the woods and the lush green surrounding vegetation inhabited by beautiful birds like Peacock, Born Swallow, Gray Hornbill, Trickle Blue Fly Catcher, and Golden Oriole and the like.
The newly constructed colossal building of the Hostel with raised high walls offers the best security to its inhabitants. It is brilliantly designed with modern architecture which provides spacious airy rooms with balcony for residents. There is 24X7 water and electricity supply. Entering the Rani Laxmi Bai hostel you find an exclusive view of the contemporary and stylish corridors to various Blocks and an amphitheater overlooking beautiful gardens which has been designed to be the life and soul of the building. Many co-curricular activities are organized in it to facilitate the all-round development of the residents.
The Nivedita I has 133 rooms and the Nivedita II has 72 rooms, all these rooms are double seated, whereas the Rani Laxmi Bai Hostel has a capacity of 193 rooms with single occupancy. Solar panels are installed to ensure the hot water supply to each room in cold weather and there are water coolers in each block to ensure the supply of clean and hygienic water. With its large and beautiful building, well-maintained lovely gardens and a premise covered with green trees and bushes, these hostels offer a place excellent for studies and related academic activities. The dining building or mess of the hostel is big, spacious and properly ventilated. On regular days it serves as a hub of many activities during mealtimes. In the Common Room for residents, there is a television and facilities for indoor games. A Gym is also there in the Hostel Complex. The Hostel Premise is guarded by Security Guards round the clock.
