Dr. Pangambam Sendash Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar. He previously held brief academic positions at the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, and Manipal University Jaipur. He also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica (ICAC), Tarragona, Spain, under the MAHSA project.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, in 2022, with research supported by the UGC JRF/SRF scheme. His doctoral work focused on computational intelligence, deep learning, and their applications in multispectral and hyperspectral image analysis. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from BHU and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from D.M. College of Science, Manipur University.
His research is driven by a passion for solving real-world problems using machine learning, particularly at the intersection of computer science and other domains. Outside academia, he is also passionate about the arts, including poetry, music, and singing.

- Secured 20th rank and topped the state in Higher Secondary Examination (XII–Science), Manipur (2009)
- State Subject Topper in Computer Science with 97% marks, Manipur Higher Secondary Examination (2009)
- Awarded INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (2009–2013)
- Received State Merit Scholarship from the Department of Education (S), Government of Manipur (2009–2010)
- Awarded N. Lakhi Devi Memorial Gold Medal for highest marks in Computer Science, B.Sc., D.M. College of Science (2012)
- Qualified GATE in Computer Science and Information Technology (2015).
- Qualified UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor eligibility in Computer Science & Applications (2015).
- Received Postdoctoral Fellowship from ARCADIA Fund, UK, for research at ICAC, Tarragona, Spain, under the MAHSA project (2022).
